It is about understanding the client, choosing the right products and techniques, working safely and efficiently, minimising discomfort and delivering consistently excellent results. Because our knowledge has been developed inside busy commercial salons, we understand the realities of working with paying clients. We know that a treatment must not only be technically good: it must also provide a professional client experience and make commercial sense.
That is why our training combines technical expertise with practical, salon-tested knowledge. We teach the standards, routines and methods we have used within our own business – not techniques that exist only in a training manual.

Our support for waxing professionals does not end when the course finishes.
Years of treating clients in our own salons taught us that the results of a wax are also influenced by what happens between appointments. The right aftercare can help clients keep their skin feeling smoother and better cared for, while helping to prevent common concerns such as ingrown hairs, bumps and irritation.
After struggling to find a complete range that met the needs of our own salon clients – particularly for intimate waxing aftercare – we developed the (nkd) essential waxing aftercare range, which is suitable for use after all forms of hair removal and also suitable for all genders.
Our products are now used and stocked by independent waxing professionals and beauty salons, helping them to:
- give clients clear and consistent aftercare advice;
- support better results between appointments;
- offer targeted homecare solutions for common post-hair-removal concerns;
